Hi, my name is Douglas. Or Doug, as pretty much everyone has called me since I was a kid.

Back then, I was the kind of kid who thought every Doug should have a dog named Costelinha (Porkchop). Yes, exactly like the cartoon character. Around that same time, I discovered drawing and somehow never stopped.

Long before advertising, job titles, or agencies, I was simply the kid filling sketchbooks and notebooks with drawings. Drawing was how I learned to pay attention. It was how I made sense of the world and, eventually, how I learned to express myself.

I could have ended up somewhere completely different. For a while, I even considered studying Law. Instead, life took me down a path where ideas could leave sketchbooks and show up on streets, screens, and in people's lives. Thankfully.

I was born in Aracaju, Brazil, where I started my career and had the chance to work with incredible people and agencies before moving to São Paulo in 2017. Since then, I've worked at W3haus, Mutato, DraftLine, PicPay, and VML, collaborating with brands such as Ambev, Budweiser, AkzoNobel, and ASICS along the way. Today, I'm part of the creative team working on Nestlé at VML.

Outside of advertising, you'll probably find me drawing, taking photos, studying typography, exploring AI tools, or diving deep into some new creative technique I've recently become obsessed with.

At the end of the day, I'm still that same kid who loves making things.

The tools have changed. The curiosity hasn't.
