BUDxNBA
To bring a bit of the NBA courts to fans stuck at home during the pandemic, we developed the BUDxNBA app, the league’s first official mobile game in Brazil.
The app quickly reached the top spot among the most downloaded games at launch. The campaign included a promotion that rewarded top players on the leaderboard with exclusive prizes.
We also created extra pieces targeting gamers who are also into the NBA. The goal was always to stay relevant and keep our passion point close to the audience’s world.
BUD NITRO
Budweiser Brazil introduced Bud Nitro, a different kind of draft beer infused with nitrogen and available exclusively at partner bars.
For the launch, we leaned heavily into the product’s appetite appeal with content across the brand’s social channels.
BIG BUD
We launched Budweiser’s biggest product in Brazil: the five-liter Bud, better known as the Big Bud since the day it hit the shelves.
We kicked things off with a teaser phase, revealing the product’s silhouette to spark curiosity, and then released the full launch film to present the new format.
#CESTOUCOMKINGS
#CestouComKings was a challenge born from a common habit that grew during the pandemic: tossing things into place. Clothes into hampers, socks into drawers, paper balls into bins... and now, Bud cans.
To start, a true legend stepped in: Oscar Schmidt, “Mão Santa,” made his can shot at home, then challenged queen Janeth and NBA player Raulzinho.
That was the cue for Budweiser’s official launch celebrating the return of the NBA after the pandemic break.
NBA 75 // BUDWEISER
The 2021-22 season marked the NBA’s 75th anniversary. In its second year as the official broadcaster of the league in Brazil, Budweiser handled all communication fronts for the games it had rights to through BudPlay, the brand’s entertainment hub in Brazil.
Bud has been producing game-related content across its social media and partnering with major industry players like TNT Sports, SporTV, and Gaules.
To honor the 75th season, we created a brand-new broadcast opener for Brazil featuring talents like BK and Janeth, reinforcing Bud’s brand pillars. We also developed a key visual that celebrated the milestone while staying aligned with the new global visual identity.
